Anstey-Hunakwa Provincial Park (Magna Bay Area, Area F) - boat-access wilderness park with intact cedar-hemlock forest ecosystems. Monashee Provincial Park (Falkland Area, Area D) - remote alpine hiking and mountaineering area in the Monashee Mountains.

Community volunteer snowmobile club maintaining the Fly Hills snowmobile area west of Salmon Arm. Groomed trails and signage make for accessible family friendly riding.
