The Shuswap Economic Development Society (SEDS) is seeking passionate, engaged, and community-minded individuals to join our Board of Directors.

As a volunteer Board Director, you will play an important role in shaping the strategic direction of SEDS and supporting initiatives that strengthen the economy of the Shuswap. Working collaboratively with fellow directors and staff, you’ll help guide programs that foster business growth, encourage investment, and build resilient, thriving communities throughout the Shuswap.

We are looking for individuals who bring diverse perspectives, professional expertise, and a commitment to serving their communities. Experience in business, finance, governance, tourism, agriculture, economic development, Indigenous relations, non-profit leadership, communications, or other relevant fields is welcomed, but most importantly, we are seeking people who share our vision of a strong and sustainable future for the Shuswap.
